Starting in 2025, the World Bodypainting Festival is entering a new era: instead of one single event in one location, the festival will now take place at multiple venues worldwide. The WBF is embarking on a journey, with world championships in body and face art held at inspiring places around the globe. Each category will continue to award a world champion title – accompanied by a creative program built around every competition.

The WBF remains the world’s largest stage for body art across various categories. At the World Awards, artists from numerous nations compete for the prestigious titles, presented in spectacular shows. Art, music, fashion, and performance will continue to be at the heart of every festival edition.
